Creamy Raw Matcha Green Tea and Peppermint Slice

I adore this slice not only because it tastes amazing but because it's jam packed full of goodness, healthy fats, antioxidants, and essential vitamins and minerals that your body will adore and your taste buds screaming woooooo! Healthy, Rich and tastes amazing, yes please!

Chocolate base 

1/2 cup Raw cacao powder

1/2 cup of coconut oil

1/4 cup of raw honey

1 Tbls of shredded coconut

1 tsp vanilla bean paste

5 drops of food grade peppermint oil

Matcha green tea layer 

2 medium ripe avocados

1/2 cup of coconut oil

1 tsp vanilla bean paste

2 tsp of lime juice

2 tsp of Matcha green tea powder

1/4 cup of maple syrup

4 drops of food grade peppermint oil

pinch of salt

Directions

To make the chocolate base place all of the ingredients into a blender and mix until it's all well combined and smooth, pour chocolate into a silicon loaf tray (using a silicon tray makes removing the slice much easier) If you aren't using a silicon tray line a loaf tray with baking paper, and pour the chocolate in, place it into the freezer to set.

to make the Matcha layer place the avocados into a blender blend until smooth and creamy, add the remaining ingredients into the blender and blend until everything is well combined and smooth, place this layer over the chocolate base, smooth it all out evenly and place it back into the freezer to set for approx 3 hours, slice and serve, left overs can be kept for up to a week in the freezer once in the fridge the top layer will become soft and mousse like which is what you want!
