3pm Pick Me Up Bites!

So it's 3pm, our energy and blood sugar is dropping, it's nearly home time yayyy but you need something to tie you over until you get home for dinner, back away from that cookie jar, chocolate bar, coffee or energy drink fix girlllll, and boy's and dive into these lil babies! Infused with peppermint oil to liven the senses and a little kick in the pants from my dear friend spriulina and this will get you going and ready to power through your afternoon with out filling your body with nasties and empty calories!! Booommmm to that and to these tasty lil devils xx

Ingredients

 

10 large fresh dates

3/4 cup raw almonds

1/4 cup Plain activated buckinis (Buckwheat seeds) 

1/2 cup shredded coconut

1/2 raw cacao powder

3 tsp of spirulina powder

1 tsp vanilla bean paste

2 tbls maple syrup or raw honey

2 tbls coconut oil melted

6 drops of pure peppermint oil (Do terra)

 

Directions

 

In a food processor pulse the almonds, buckinis & coconut until broken down, add the dates and pulse until everything starts to come together, add the remaining ingredients and process until the mixture starts to form a ball, sometimes you might need a little bit of water if the mixture isn't sticking, only a tablespoon or 2 and only if needed, once the mixture comes together, roll into bite size balls and if you like roll them into a little bit more raw cacao powder, set in the freezer for an hour then they are ready to roll, keeps in the freezer in an air tight container for up to 3 weeks, enjoy xx
