So what is Self compassion???

It's the extension of kindness, care, warmth and understanding towards oneself when faced with short comings, inadequacies or failures.

Self compassion is the care and nurturing we offer to ourselves when we make mistakes, come short of a goal we were hoping to achieve or make unhealthy choices.

Having self compassion means to honour and accept our own humanness, self compassion is having grace for yourself, regardless of circumstances.

Like myself I know many of you gals and guys out there are probably lacking in this department of self care :(

Have you stopped and listen to the way you talk to yourself lately?? Imagine if we spoke to our friends and family in such a way, I'm guessing we wouldn't have many people around us if we did so.

When did we become so nasty and unfair to ourselves? When did we start to think that treating ourselves like this would be ok and that it would make us do better or go further in our lives??

We are human, it's perfectly ok to be so, that means taking some wrong turns, making a few poor choices, falling off the wagon of life at times and yet through it all to have compassion, grace and acceptance for it all!! 

We are here to experience a human experience in this life time, all of the highs and lows, joy and sadness, love and hate and the up's and down's etc, etc, be gentle to yourself through it all xx
